Job Description

  • Design and Development of mechanical Components and sub-assemblies for BT-VS products (video cameras)
  • Perform design study and calculations for various design features and interfacing parts.
  • Conduct FEA simulation for shock, Impact and Eigen frequency.
  • Manufacturing drawing creation including SAP-documentation and creating assembly Instruction
  • Applying GD&T and Tolerance calculations on component and assembly level
  • Interaction with Assembly, Optics and Supplier to achieve optimal design and manufacturability.
  • Creation and Maintain BOMs & Release of the work product in SAP.
  • Creation of inspection templates and creation of Reports using GOM inspect for out of tool parts

Qualifications

B.E/ B.TECH in Mechanical Engineering

Additional Information

  • Experience in Plastic, Sheet Metal and Die casting component design and development activities
  • Ability to perform design calculations, develop concepts & detailed design
  • Experience of working with Cross functional teams
  • Experience in preparing/maintaining Bill of materials
  • Knowledge on GD&T and Tolerance stack-up
  • Proficient in Pro-E (CREO) & SAP
  • Good knowledge in GD&T, Tolerance stack up analysis
  • Good problem solving and teamwork skills
  • Manufacturing process knowledge – Sheet metal, Plastics and die casting
